Lauren E. Raupp is a Partner at MacGillis Wiemer, LLC. Her practice is devoted exclusively to the representation of injured clients. She has represented individuals who have been seriously injured in a wide variety of situations, including automobile collisions, trucking collisions, motorcycle collisions, bicycle collisions, pedestrian collisions, premises accidents, and dog bites and attacks. She has also represented individuals who have been injured by unsafe products, including contaminated food. Additionally, she has represented individuals and families arising out nursing home abuse and neglect, and the wrongful death of a loved one. Lauren has specialized experience in representing first responders, including police and firefighters, who have been injured by the acts of others while on duty.
Lauren was honored as 2022’s Outstanding Young Trial Lawyer by the Wisconsin Association for Justice (WAJ). This award recognizes a trial lawyer who has shown exceptional dedication to their craft and reflected WAJ’s mission of protecting access to the courts. WAJ’s mission includes promoting the administration of justice for the public good, upholding the honor and dignity of the profession of law, and protecting and exercising the right of trial by jury. To be eligible, a nominee must be a licensed attorney under 40 years of age or in practice less than 10 years who has shown outstanding dedication to the Wisconsin Association for Justice or demonstrated significant legal skill and accomplishment.
Lauren was selected as a Super Lawyer Rising Star in 2023 and 2024. She has also been selected by the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys as one of the Top 10 Under 40 Attorneys in the State of Wisconsin. The National Trial Lawyers Organization has selected her as one of the Top 40 Under 40 Civil Plaintiff Trial Lawyers in the State of Wisconsin. She has served as the Chair of the Young Lawyers Division and Vice Chair of the Women’s Caucus for the Wisconsin Association for Justice. Lauren is also a member of the American Bar Association and the Association of Women Lawyers.
In 2024, Lauren was elected as a Fellow of the Wisconsin Law Foundation. The Fellows organization honors State Bar of Wisconsin members who have achieved significant accomplishments in their careers and contributed leadership and service to their communities. The Fellows membership is limited to 2.5% of the State Bar’s total membership. Members are nominated by their peers and elected by the Fellows Board of Trustees.
Lauren graduated Marquette Law School in 2013, earning a Certificate in Litigation along with her J.D. degree. While in law school, she was a judicial intern with the Wisconsin Court of appeals and a Student Practitioner with Milwaukee Corporation Counsel. Lauren was selected as a teacher’s assistant for the course of Civil Procedure and was inducted into Marquette’s Pro Bono Honor Society for her work as a student volunteer with the Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinic. Lauren also studied international law abroad at Justus-Liebig University in Giessen, Germany. Prior to attending Marquette Law School, Lauren worked as a paralegal at a Chicago personal injury firm, an experience which ignited her passion for the field. She earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and is a graduate of Carmel Catholic High School in Mundelein, Illinois.
Although originally from the Chicago suburbs, Lauren has made Wisconsin her home. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Tim, and their two young boys, George and Henry.
